Schmalznudel – Café Frischhut

Even among Munich locals, the Schmalznudel – Café Frischhut is something special. You can already see them in the shop window, the freshly pulled out noodles and Striezerl sizzling in the hot fat. To take away or to eat in – there are also other delicacies here – the Schmalznudel is definitely part of a visit to Munich’s Viktualienmarkt.

However, the beer garden doesn’t open quite so early and the opening times can vary slightly depending on the season.
